Students in the Advanced Meat Cutting course at Mid-State Technical College recently earned top honors at the Wisconsin Association of Meat Processors Annual Convention. Competing against some of the best processors in the state, the class was awarded Reserve Grand Champion (2nd Place) for their original, traditional brat.

This recognition highlights the students’ dedication to craftsmanship, product development, and quality—showcasing the hands-on skills and industry standards emphasized throughout the program.

Discover premium meats that prioritize quality, safety, and exceptional craftsmanship at Mid-State Meat Market. Each cut showcases the hands-on training provided to students in Mid-State Technical College’s Meat Cutting and Butchery Program.
Students gain practical experience by expertly breaking down pork, lamb, and beef into precision cuts, as well as creating specialty items like sausages and snack sticks. Their education emphasizes skill, pride, and a profound respect for the craft.

All orders must be placed online, with local pickup available ONLY at Mid-State Technical College - Marshfield Campus. Pick-up days are Tuesday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Orders must be received by 5:00 pm the day prior, to be eligible for next day pickup. Orders made on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will be processed the next business day with pickup on Tuesday.You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup.
