Mid-State Meats Refund Policy

At Mid-State Meat Market, we take pride in providing our customers with high-quality, fresh meat products. Due to the perishable nature of our meats, we have specific guidelines regarding returns and refunds.

 

Returns & Refunds on Perishable Items

For the safety and quality of our products, we generally do not accept returns on perishable meat items, including but not limited to:

  • Fresh or frozen whole cuts (steaks, roasts, chops, etc.)

  • Sausages and ground meats

  • Snack sticks, jerky, and other cured meats

 

However, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you experience any quality concerns or receive a product that is spoiled, damaged, or incorrect, please follow these steps:

 

Refund or Replacement Eligibility

We will consider refunds or replacements under the following conditions:

  • The product is incorrect (wrong item received).

  • The product is spoiled or defective at the time of purchase (must be reported within 24 hours of purchase).

  • There is a packaging issue that compromised the product’s quality (e.g., torn packaging exposing the product, broken vacuum seal upon receipt, etc.).

 

How to Request a Refund or Replacement

  1. Report the issue within 24 hours of purchase or pickup by contacting us through our online form.

  2. Provide proof of the issue, such as a clear photo of the product and a copy of your receipt.

  3. Return the product (if requested) in its original packaging for evaluation.

  4. Refunds will be issued for the original purchase amount minus any applicable credit card processing fees previously paid of 3.0%.  For example, if you are eligible for a $100 refund, the non-refundable processing fee of $3.00 will be deducted, and you will receive $97.00.  No additional refund fees will apply.

 

Non-Refundable Situations

We cannot offer refunds or replacements in the following cases:

  • If the product was not stored properly after purchase.

  • If the issue is reported beyond 24 hours of purchase.

  • If the product was purchased on clearance or marked as final sale.

  • If the taste, texture, or preference is the only concern (as quality standards may vary).

  • if you change your mind and no longer want the product.

 

Custom & Special Orders

Custom-cut meats and special orders are non-refundable unless there is a defect or error on our part.
